Core2 Business Consulting Donates more than $6,000 to Massachusetts Alliance on Teen Pregnancy

Boston-based Core2 Business Consulting, Inc. announced today that it has donated $6,200 to the Massachusetts Alliance on Teen Pregnancy. The donation is the result of a program created by Core2’s staffing partner Abbott Personnel Inc. to celebrate the placement firm’s 20th year in business. To commemorate this anniversary, Abbott Personnel has donated a portion of each of their clients’ annual fee to a charity of their choice.

“The spirit of giving is exemplified in Abbott Personnel’s decision to turn over a part of our fees to our favorite charity. It is a noble way to give back and this donation will have a great impact on the important work of the Alliance,” said Dave Roberts, President and Founder, Core2 Business Consulting, Inc.

Core2 selected the Massachusetts Alliance on Teen Pregnancy because of its mission to provide statewide leadership to prevent adolescent pregnancy and to promote quality services for pregnant and parenting teens and their children through policy analysis, education, research and advocacy.

Core2 presented the donation to Executive Director Susan Lovelace at the Alliance headquarters in Boston.

“In Massachusetts and across the country, teen pregnancy continues to be a serious public health and social issue that carries considerable economic costs,” said Lovelace. “This generous donation, one of the largest that the Alliance has ever received, will allow us to continue our work so that more teens are choosing to grow into adulthood without the financial, physical and emotional burden of child rearing.”
